Today in west civ we studied for the test on Friday, we studied with a quizlet online. The first people to speak Greek were the Mycenaeans. A colony is a new city-state settled in oversea territory sponsored by the local city-state. The three great civilizations of the achient world are Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greece.
